“Idavapathy” begins shooting .

The shooting of Lenin Rajendran’s new flick ‘Idavapathy’ has started. The
film is being produced by Shiju Sudevan under the banner of Poornima
Image Makers.
The movie depicts a story that happens in Indo-Tibetan border
and deals with a love of two timelines. One of these revolves around
the romance between a young Tibetan saint and an Indian lady.
The
second one sketches the immortal love of Upaguptha and Vasavadatha,
the characters of Kumaranasan’s famous poem ‘Chandala Bhikshuki’. This
film features the reintroduction of Siddhartha Lama, the little cute
Rompoche in the movie ‘Yodha’ who won the hearts of Malayalis by
calling Mohanlal ‘Akosoto’. Manisha Koirala plays the female lead.
The
music is composed by Ramesh Narayanan and Mohan Sithara for the lyrics
of Madhusoodanan Nair, D. Vinayachandran and Rosemary. Lenin Rajendran
himself writes the script.
