'German Returns' : Mammootty in Ranjith's next

  The shooting of hit-maker Ranjith's next film will begin soon. Its reported that the movie is titled as 'German Returns'. Interestingly, Germany is the main location for the shoot. This would be the first Malayalam movie to explore Germany. While Bangkok, America, England, Spain and Maldives are some foreign locations that have been pictured on screen, audience will be treated to German locales in true Ranjith style.
 
Mammootty plays the lead in this movie. Mammootty's earlier association with Ranjith includes 'Paleri Manikyam', 'Pranchiyettan', 'Bavuttiyude Namathil' (script), etc. 'German Returns' is expected to be another stellar team-up from the duo. Incidentally, the duo had planned to shoot 'Leela' first. Due to some undisclosed reasons, the movie has been postponed indefinitely. 'Leela', an adaptation of Unni R's novel of the same name, was supposed to star Mammootty and Rima Kallingal. Ranjith's last release was 'Spirit'.
