Is it time for the super stars for a rethink? Unlike the habit of
coming up with several films consecutively in a year, our super stars
have started having a second thought.
Realizing the new trends in Malayalam
cinema, Superstar Mohanlal has decided to be selective in his films. Treading
the blazing paths of Bollywood and Kollywood super starts, Lal intends
to take films in short intervals and to make the fans anxiously wait for
his movie.
Sources say that Mohanlal will act only in two films from 2012
onwards. But this restraint will not be applicable for parallel cinema.
If the reports are true, Mohanlal has only contracted with B.
Unnikrishnan for ‘Grandmaster’ after ‘Casanovva’. Hindi film ‘Tezz’
by Priyadarshan in which Mohanlal appears in an important role is the
actor’s next movie that will grace the screen in 2012. In addition
to these films, the backdrop works of M.T.-Harharan team’s
‘Randamoozham’ and a Joshy film scripted by Sachi are progressing.
The actor will appear in these films.
‘The King and The Commissioner’, ‘Cobra’ ,‘Gangster’ and ‘Balyakalasakhi’ are the
films of Megastar Mammootty in 2012.
Let us hope that Mohanlal and Mammootty
will move accordingly after recognizing the taste of the audience who do not
show much enthusiasm for ‘super-star’ films in recent days.
