Mohanlal would appear in a double role again, after a long time in Shajoon Karyal's new film 'Talkies'.
He would play both father and son in the film.
Mohanlal plays Raveendran Nair, owner of Kamala Talkies at Ramanthuruthu. He would also play Raveendran's father who was based in Singapore.
S Sureshbabu would script the film.
The Superstar has appeared in a double role in several other films earlier like 'Udayon', 'Ravanaprabhu' and 'Uncle Bun'.
