Sarath Kumar as hero in "Metro".

After receiving critical acclaim for his powerful performance as Edachena Kunkan, the chief lieutenant of king Pazhassi Raja, in director Hariharan's magnum opus historical film Pazhassi Raja, popular Tamil actor Sarathkumar has become a hot property in Malayalam. He essayed roles in Christian Brothers and Oridathaoru Postman and according to sources, he has bagged his fourth Malayalam film, Metro. Metro will be directed by debut Vyasan Edavanakad under the banner of Dileep’s Grand Productions. Touted to be an action packed entertainer set in Kochi backdrop, it will have Sarathkumar playing a police circle inspector. It will mark the debut of five young actors in important roles, the makers informed.
