World Economic Forum honors Amitabh Bachchan

For his contribution to the world of art, Amitabh Bachchan, was honoured with World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Crystal Award at Davos last week.
Noted dancer, Mallika Sarabhai, was also honoured along with Chinese martial artist and actor Jet Li and Venezuelan musician José Antonio Abreu.
The WEF is a non-profit organisation based in Geneva, which brings together top business and political leaders and selected intellectuals, to discuss the most pressing issues worldwide. This year marks the 39th annual gathering of the organisation.
