Vaadamalli Review

Vaadamalli , the movie which tells the story of missing girl, a drug smuggler, a music lover, a girl who left her home in a non-linier fashion. The lead roles of the film produced by Sunil Chandrika Nair for ZOE ESTEBE MOVIEZ are played by newcomers.
Alberrt Antoni, the director of Vaadamalli is already in the news headlines for his big-budget project Nairsan, starring Jackie Chan and Mohanlal. His first movie, 'Kanne Madanguka', received many awards.
The story develops through campus, music, road and backwaters. Beethoven High tech Music College is the focal point of the story. Vasu Damodar(Rahul Madhav), Sandesh Veerendra(Ramesh Raveendran), Vrinda Nambiar(Richa Panai), Renuka(Niji Mary) are student in this college.
There characters accidently get involved in some incidents that happened in the campus. The story takes an unexpected twist in the campus.
Rahul Madhav, Richa Panai, Ramesh Raveendran, Niji Mary, Pradeep Chandran,Sreejith Girish, Jyothi Chatterji are the new faces who play the main characters along with Raveendran, Bijukkutan and others.
Well known technical experts in South Indian celluloid play their part behind the reels. Vaidy.S.Pillai , top cinematographer in the Tamil film industry plays the camera. Raja Mohammed who bagged National Award for his editing Paruthiveeran is the Editor. Shivakumar who excelled in audio graphing Enthiran is the audiographer of the film. Sethu National Award winner from Chennai Leo vision, who sound designed the blockbusters Raavan, Guru, is the sound designer of Vaadamalli. Shyam, who already had been in the limelight through international Music programs debut as the music director for the film. Shyam belongs to Chennai based Shyam group. Digital Dubbing for the film was done in Indian Musical Maestro AR Rahman's A.M studio. Anal Arasu, who has already proved his talent as the stunt director through Sinkham, Nan Mahan Allai, directs the thrills for the film. Young journalists Rajesh Varma and Laser Shine pen the script for the film. Songs are sung by KS Chitra, Neetha Subhir, KK Nishanth,Swaramukhi and Vayalar Sharath is the lyricist.
The backdrop of this film is topical. It's about how the youth of God's own country are recruited by drugs and love. The script is filled with youth impact.
The core issues are kept at bay, and the film instead focuses on some fresh visuals. The action and song sequences are well shot. The twist that has almost become mandatory for films these days arrives, and if you haven't been guessing it all along, you might remain entertained for the rest of the film.
The performances in the film are top notch consider most of all are new faces. Rahul Madhav delivers a striking performance. Ramesh Raveendran and Pradeep Chandran in their respective roles comes up with notable feats and Richa Panai and Niji Mary role leaves an impact as well. The rest of the cast have also performed quite well.
The cinematography by Vaidy as expected is superlative and the editing by Raja Mohammed modish to the core. Songs in the film, beautifully composed by Shyam Balakrishnan with Vayalar Sarath lyrics and exceptionally well picturised.
Vaadamalli holds a formula of a complete Youth flick. It's romantic, energetic and has a big ace in its fresh musical visuals.
