Akhila,Anchor for the reality show, Munch Star Singer Junior telecasted in Asianet. Now she is entering filmy world as heroine of Dileep in the movie \\\"Karyasthan\\\". She was born in Kozhikode, Kerala and had her education from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Public School, Kozhikode. She was the runnerup in Vodafone Thakadhimi, a dance reality show screened in Asianet in 2007. She then became an anchor in the music reality show, Munch Star Singer Juniour, again screened in Asianet. Being a lover of Bharatanatyam, she has got years of training in the same. She is now debutting as an actress through Karyasthan, starring Dileep. She is playing the lead character, Sribala, in the movie directed by Thomson. K. Thomas.
