Janardhanan was born to K. Gopalakrishnapillai and Gowriyamma on 1946 May 05. He was in film field for the past thirty years. He completed his graduation from Neyyatinkara NSS college. After that he had assisted so many famous Dramatists. In between this he got job as clerk in paravoor central bank. Aftert that he had assisted S K Nair in his business in chennai. From there he had acted with Prem Nazir in the picture 'Adyathe kada' which was directed by Sethu madhavan. After that he had acted in more than 300 films. His wife is Vijay lekshmi and have two daughters.
