Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri is a noted malayalam Poet, Lyrist, Music director, Actor, Singer, Screenplay Writer, and Great Performer of Carnatic Music. He is son of a well known singer late Keshavan Namboothiri popularly known as Kannadi Bhagavathar.
His first Lyrist venture was in "Ennennum Kannettante" directed by Shri Fazil. "Devadundubi Ragalayam" song in this movie was a great hit. He has written lyrics for more than 300 songs. He has played the character of a Classic or Semi-Classic Singer in most of the films that he has acted.
